Die Kurzbeschreibungen:
Chemical education:
I hope you find this list useful as another way of participating on a day to day basis in wide-ranging discussions on all aspects of science education. Perhaps it will also assist you in 'networking' with colleagues in this area. Please participate as fully as possible and in a spirit of friendly and robust discussion and enquiry.
***Aims of the list
This Mailbase list was set up in March 1994 as a forum for discussion of
issues relating to science education at all levels. The list is intended
primarily for users in the global higher education community, though of
course some of the discussions arising may have implications in a wider
context than higher education. You might want to raise discussion about:
- initial teacher education issues,
- continuing professional development of science educators,
- science education research at all levels.
All this and more will hopefully be possible.
As this is the first Mailbase list in this topic area (I think!) we may need to readjust the focus, and perhaps create sister lists as we go along. As well as reading the discussions and contributing to them please provide comments to the list owner on ways in which the usefulness of the list might be improved.
Science-education:
A forum for academics engaged in the study of science education.
The list will consider practical and theoretical issues relating
to the teaching of science and the professional development
of science educators at all levels. The list will have a research
focus.
