Travel to Bad Goisern

There are four airports you could fly to, Vienna, Linz, Munich, Salzburg.   Directions from each are given below. 

1 - To Vienna:

Direct bus to railway station

Travel by train to Bad Goisern – takes about 3-4 hours, changing in Attnang Puchheim.

(Single cost:  55 – 60 Euro)

2 - To Linz (not  recommended):

Go by taxi to Linz  railway station (there may be a shuttle-bus but this is not certain). Taxi ½ hour, train 2 hours.

Train to Bad Goisern – changing  in Attnang Puchheim

(Single cost: as above, including taxi)

3 – To Munich:

Travel by Shuttle-Service to Salzburg (Airport) or Hof (Between Bad Goisern and Salzburg)

From Salzburg or Hof, travel with our School-Bus to Bad Goisern. The Shuttle-Service depends on the number of customers and takes between 2 und 4 hours.

(Costs for the Shuttle-Service 50-55 Euro)

Or travel by “S-Bahn” from Airport to Munich Station, and then by train to Salzburg

(Same time and same costs as Shuttle-Service)

To use the Shuttle-Service: book at Munich-Airport near S-Bahn staircase where there is a special counter.

4 - To Salzburg:

Most direct. Tell us the time  of your arrival and we will collect you at the airport and take you on our School Bus to Bad Goisern.

Please note: We shall be running a shuttle service with the School Bus and you may have to wait for a while, but if we know your arrival time we can tell you how long you will have to wait.
